Get Ready for a Flexmls Exclusive Preview

The ROAM MLS transition to the unified Flexmls platform is fast approaching. After October 23, you will no longer be able to input new listings into Matrix. The final transition to Flexmls will occur on October 26. To recap what’s ahead:

🗓️October 12 – Parallel access and training begins.
🗓️October 23 – You can no longer input listings into Matrix.
🗓️October 26 – GO LIVE DATE – Matrix will be fully replaced by Flexmls.

Prepare now by saving a record of auto-emails, important saved searches and contacts, and removing anything outdated or no longer needed. While this information should move to Flex intact, any large system migration carries the risk of data loss. Best practice recommends to begin recording your information ahead of time to mitigate the risk.

You cannot download saved searches or auto emails. You will need to manually copy and paste them into the download spreadsheet / copied Google sheet template above, take a screenshot, or preserve the information in the best way that works for you.

How to Export Your Contacts In Matrix

1. From the My Matrix tab, navigate to your Contacts screen.
2. Select the Actions button.

3. Select Export.

4. Save the exported file, MatrixContacts.csv in a safe place.

Exclusive Preview: NEW FIELDS IN FLEX

When you input your first listing into Flex, you’ll see four NEW fields:

1. PropertySubType
2. StructureType
3. PropertyAttachedYN
4. CommonInterest

These fields offer a clearer description to the professional Realtor while maintaining consumer-friendly terminology. Together they can describe any residential listing precisely — a whole house, one side of a duplex, or a unit in a larger building — without overloading any single field.
