Let's come together to help end hunger in south Louisiana! From October 1 - 30, we are partnering with Second Harvest once more collect donations of needed non-perishable items. 

DONATION GUIDELINES

Second Harvest accepts nearly all types of non-perishable food. Non-glass containers required; nutritional food items low in sodium/salt and sugar are preferred.

Grains

Cereal • Pasta • Rice • Snacks

Fruits and Vegetables

Canned fruit • Canned vegetables • Tomato sauce

Proteins

Canned meat or fish • Dried or canned beans • Peanut butter • Canned soups and stews

Shelf-stable/dry/evaporated milk

Cooking oil

Can I pick up a donation box for my office?

Yes! Boxes are available for pick-up from the Southshore office. Any boxes provided must be returned to the Southshore office in Metairie no later October 23 to count towards the food drive.
