2027 Election Slates for NOMAR and CID Revealed

Elections for the NOMAR and CID Boards of Directors will be held from October 5 – 13, 2026. Ballots will be distributed via email on October 5, with results to be announced at the NOMAR Annual Meeting on October 13. We hope to see you there!

 

In advance of the upcoming elections, the following recommended candidates have been approved by the Boards of NOMAR and its Commercial Investment Division:

Four (4) open seats on the Board of Directors will be filled for three-year terms beginning January 1, 2027.  The candidates are:

Write-in Candidates

Provided that such person is a member of the Association, any candidate not selected by the Vetting Committee may request to be added to the ballot, provided that he or she has completed the application process and has been interviewed by the Vetting Committee and submits a petition signed by no less than ten (10%) percent of the membership, of which no more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the signing members shall be affiliated with the same company or firm. This request must be submitted by September 29, 2026.

The Bylaws of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®, Inc. direct that no more than three members from each firm may serve at the same time. In addition, in no event shall the number of Category 1 REALTORS® (see Bylaws Article IV, Section 3, a.1.) and REALTORS® who are engaged in the real estate profession in positions of management control on behalf of sole proprietors or corporate officers be less than 50% of the At-Large Directors. The NOMAR Ex-Officio, the CID President, and the GSREIN President do not count in the allotment.
