You must cancel course bookings at least 48 hours ahead of each in-person class. If you do not cancel 48 hours ahead of your scheduled in-person CE course, you will be assessed a no-show/cancellation fee of $10 per credit hour.

1. Identify the primary parties in a residential mortgage transaction (mortgage broker, mortgage lender/banker, loan officer, processor, underwriter, and servicer) and describe the function each performs.

2. Distinguish a mortgage broker from a mortgage lender and explain why that difference can affect a client's rate, timeline, and options.

3. Explain how an agent's working knowledge of the financing process protects the purchase contract and the client's earnest money.
