NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 6, 2023) — The New Orleans Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (NOMAR), an association with over 7,900 members throughout the ten-parish region, has announced the appointment of the organization’s new executive management team: Alice Clark as Chief Executive Officer, Bailey D. Morse as Chief Operating Officer, and Brianne Byrley as Chief People Officer.

Alice Clark, NOMAR’s new CEO, has served as Interim CEO since May and brings two decades of real estate management experience to the position. Hailing from Ruston, Louisiana, Clark began her career in real estate as an office manager and trainer for a Ruston-based broker. Following that, she worked as the MLS Director and then the Association Executive at Northeast REALTORS® of Louisiana in Monroe, LA. She holds leadership certifications from the National Association of REALTORS®, including the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement and the REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation.

“Alice’s extensive management acumen coupled with her thorough understanding of the industry, from multiple angles, is truly remarkable,” said Liz Tardo, NOMAR president and broker/owner. “This is a pivotal time for our industry and our association. We’re spearheading an expansion–from more member benefits and opportunities to get involved to greater advocacy at the local level—and Alice is the right person to execute our vision.”

“NOMAR is a dynamic organization dedicated to championing and empowering the profession that makes the dream of homeownership a reality across the region,” said Clark. “I’m excited and honored by the opportunity to lead staff, as we grow and thrive together with our members.”

The team is further buoyed by the addition of Bailey D. Morse, who joins NOMAR as Chief Operating Officer and In-House Counsel. Morse has served as the outside General Counsel for the association’s governing boards since 2017 and brings more than 15 years of private practice experience to the role. Prior to joining NOMAR, Morse was a partner in the firm of Jones Fussell, LLP, in Covington, Louisiana, and is a graduate of LSU and Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. A Northshore native, she makes her home in Mandeville, LA.

According to Craig Mirambell, the Association’s President-elect and Broker/Owner, Morse’s appointment signals a strategic move from leadership to expand key NOMAR offerings while building on a rich history of innovation. “By bringing legal services in-house and appointing a steward to oversee operations, we are elevating the profession and taking our organization to the next level.”

In her newly created role, Morse will collaborate closely with executive management and the Board of Directors to help guide the Association’s evolution and strategic initiatives. “No matter where we come from, we are stronger together. My aim is to build bridges that connect the communities we serve and strengthen our partnerships across the industry,” said Morse.

Completing the executive management team is Brianne Byrley, NOMAR’s newly appointed Chief People Officer. With over 11 years of Human Resources experience, Byrley brings expertise in Talent Acquisition and HR Management from both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.

Reflecting on the appointment, Byrley remarked, “One thing I find most impressive about NOMAR is the scope of the resources our Association provides to both members and staff. NOMAR is wholly dedicated to the success of REALTORS®, who in turn drive the economic growth and development of our region. It’s inspiring.”
