GREAT NEWS … NOMAR.org is changing!!!
Beginning Monday after 5:00pm, NOMAR.org will be changing to a new website format that will provide many extra benefits to our members.  When you go to NOMAR.org, you will see the New Consumer Website.  This is where the general public will go to Find a REALTOR®, Search for a Home, and many other things related to Homeownership.  When you click on REALTOR® Professionals, it will take you to the Professional side of NOMAR.org.  This is where you would log in to register for classes , events & many other great things.

Homebuying Course Spanish
Realizing the need to simplify the path for citizens to achieve, “the Dream of Homeownership”, Sulli Educational Services, Inc. is sponsoring a 12-hour certified homebuyer programs.  The Spanish course is Saturday, September 7th 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, September 8th 1:00pm to 5:00pm. You must attend both days of the course.  All 12-hours are necessary to receive a certificate.  The program is $80. Classes will be held at the Hispanic Resource Center located at 4312 Florida Ave., Kenner, Louisiana 70065.

Petitions Due for the 2014 NOMAR Election by September 18^th

The Bylaws direct that in addition to the Official Slate presented by the Board of Directors, additional candidates for the offices to be filled may be placed in nomination by petition signed by at least 2% (84) of the REALTOR® Members, of which no more than 1% (42) may be from the same firm.  Petitions must be presented to the Board Office prior to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18th.
