All those holding a broker or associate broker license must complete 2017 Broker Mandatory - Broker Responsibility by December 31, 2017. 

To check if your name is on the list from LREC of those who have not taken the course as of December 2017, click here. Please note that this list is for informational purposes and is not intended to verify that requirements have been met. Code of Ethics Cycle V - What You Need to Know

All members of NAR must complete ethics training during Cycle V between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018, regardless of when you last completed it.

• For those broker licensees who do not complete "2017 Broker Mandatory - Broker Responsibility," the LREC will impose a fine of $325 in addition to requiring 30 hours of broker prelicensing training. This will not stop license renewal.

Jefferson Parish Flood Map Workshops This Week

New FEMA Flood Maps could affect your clients. These new Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) for Jefferson Parish will be effective February 2, 2018. Jefferson Parish has partnered with FEMA to hold two Flood Insurance Workshops, which will help you and your clients better understand the new maps, rating options, and more!

Condolences
Joyce Ramos, mother of Gerard Ramos of Mauti, Schroder, Scoggin Real Estate, passed away on November 17. Services were held on November 22. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, the Alzheimer's Association, or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church / International Shrine of St. Jude.

Broker Mandatory Course Deadline December 31, 2017

All brokers and associate brokers must complete 2017 Broker Mandatory - Broker Responsibility by December 31, 2017. Click here to register for the December 11 class in Metairie.  Click here to register for the December 18 class in Mandeville.

LREC released a list of licensed brokers who, according to their records, have not completed this course as of October 2017. Click here  to view their list of people who still need to take the Broker Mandatory course. NOMAR cannot guarantee the accuracy of this list, so we recommend that all members visit the LREC website to ensure their individual education records are correct. How Do I Know if I Have All My CE?

NOMAR does not track your CE hours.  To check your approved credit hours, visit the LREC website and view your education record. Please keep in mind that it may be up to 45 days before a course you completed is reflected on your LREC education record.  Be sure to keep your CE certificates in a safe place. If you have an issue with a course, contact the provider listed on your certificate.
