NAR Requires Code of Ethics Training Cycle VI
All NAR members must complete at least 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics training (not necessarily CE) during Cycle VI between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021. You must complete Code of Ethics training during this time frame, regardless of when you last completed it.**
IF YOU HAVE TAKEN THIS CLASS during Cycle VI with a provider other than NOMAR:
IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN IT yet during Cycle VI:
- Live Class at NOMAR for CE credit: Check our calendar to find an offering and register.
- Live Class for CE Credit from Other Providers: Bayou Title, Title Stream, Crescent Title, Delta Title, and Choice Title all offer live Code of Ethics courses for CE. Be sure to send NOMAR a copy of your completion certificate.
- Online Class for CE Credit from Other Providers: Choose an LREC-approved online course provider who offers REALTOR® Code of Ethics. Be sure to send NOMAR a copy of your completion certificate.
- Online Class, No CE Credit, Free: Complete the training offered by NAR here. Choose Course for Existing Members (Free), as this course is not approved in Louisiana for CE credit.
Remember, you do not have to complete Code of Ethics as part of your CE! CE hours are a matter of licensure and therefore under the purview of LREC. Code of Ethics training is a requirement of your membership in the National Association of REALTORS®.
